Simple, inexpensive and very tasty Indian food. Only a few dishes available -- curry fish/fish-head, fried fish, fried chicken, and beef. Simple vege served as standard side-dish, as is papadums. Choice of local rice or Indian rice to go with the fish curry which, to me, is one of the tastiest I've ever eaten. Although always crowded, the semi-alfresco, breezy riverside atmosphere makes eating here very laidback, unlike busy, hot, noisy mamak restaurants.

The fish head curry was delicious. Even the roti canai and biryani was nice. It was also at a reasonable price. The environment was quite clean and looks quite new. The service is normal. Overall, it is definitely recommended

A popular street Nasi Kandar stall offering a variety of delicious dishes including Fish Head Curry, Fried Chicken, Squid, ABC, and Cendol. All meals are fresh and reasonably priced.

Looking for nasi kandar in Klang, I suggest here, it's marvelous and reasonably priced.4 those are looking their restaurant has moved near Sekolah Hishamudin Klang no longer in Pengkalan Batu known as JK n.kandar

23May2025 For a more appropriate and relavent review. Look out for JK Nasi Kandar ( Tepi Sungai), same row as 99 convenience store of Jalan Kapar. Latest Review ( April 2025) Visited this extraordinary Nasi Kandar ( actually well known for their Curry Kepala Ikan) however “we” were attracted to their fried chicken with nasi biriani banjir plus their fried tinggiri. Anyways today’s sharing is for all you patrons and loyal followers to this particular Nasi Kandar store. Today (3rdApril) we were surprised by their closure at their old and legendary location. The big signed in front pointed us to their “temporary” stall. It’s now located in JK Nasi Kandar Tepi Sungai at Jalan Raya Barat ( we wazed here too). They rented one of the stalls until their new shop are up. Was told that after 15thApril they will be operating from a new shop ( next to 99 mart). We tried looking for the nearest 99 mart that he said was just around The current location however the only mart we found on Waze was Jalan Kapar so perhaps it would be best to check the Fb postings or locate the 99 mart nearest to the current place of Jalan Barat Previous Review Some how most of my visits to a great food joint often missed this category…., of Nasi Kandar. I’m sure there are plenty out there but this week my sudden craving for curry fish head brought me back to this gem located in Klang ( old town and rather precisely is in Pengkalan Batu and Jalan Tepi Sungai. It’s rather a difficult to locate place but once visit you will guarantee to join the many whom had become frequent patron and the long queue that often forms at lunch. This week visit was particularly for the Nasi kandar and fried chicken, fried sotong and tengiri however as soon as we step into the serving area ( the queue is always there) my mind just automatically switched to the curry fish head. As good as ever but notice the price had gone up ( our two person portion was RM 64, which was more than our last visit). The fried chicken was as juicy and appetizing as ever but this time we stopped at that . Quenched my cravings but was rather shocked by the final bill, it was RM 102 for two person lunch of Nasi Kandar. Was it just me and been too long since we had curry fish head, I felt that was a bit pricy. My next visit I would just stick to the beriani rice and fried chicken ( maybe even a fried tengiri ). Verdic was two thumbs up
